Prices in the US are appreciating rapidly now and very soon it will be the time to SELL, not to buy any longer. As I am finding it more and more difficult to locate investments in the US that give a decent ROI as we did 2-3 years ago, I'm researching Europe now!
As many of you might now, my daughter and family live in The Netherlands, in a quiet and green suburb of it's capital- The Hague. I visit them often and I'm familiar with the area. Moreover- real estate in Holland has not started appreciating yet (although properties are already selling quite fast) so I decided to "test the waters" and buy a little studio in the outskirts of The Hague- cash of course.
I plan to implement the strategy that works very well in Scottsdale, AZ, renting out the studio short term-as the Shell Headquarters and the European Patent Institute are just a few minutes away and all Embassies and Ministries are in The Hague itself, about 15-20 minutes drive.
So take a look at those- they are all in the same building. Prices are in Euros (which is very close to the US $ right now)- so altogether, it seems to be the right timing!
Building has just been remodeled and backs to a beautiful green forest, has 2 elevators, doorman and Intercom. Remodeling of the entrance and ground floor clubhouse will start shortly.
